About Me

Hi! I'm Kate and I am a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow working in clean energy policy. As an academic, my research focused on quantifying air pollution exposure and health impacts. I am also interested in environmental justice, science policy, and connecting science with the community. I received my PhD ('21) and MS ('18) in atmospheric science from Colorado State University and hold a BS ('16) in physics from the College of Charleston. In my free time I like to run, hike, kayak, and play guitar. You can find more info about me, my research projects, publications, and engagement at the tabs at the top of this page.
